The last Thursday of each month marks the kick-off of a brand new month of Art & Culture in our quaint little jewel of a village by the sea. 

The evening begins at 5:30 pm with free live music entertainment encompassing all genres of music from Jazz & Blues to Rock, Pop, Country and even retro 50's Doo Wop.  

Various Shops, restaurants and other local store front establishments participate in this Village wide community event by opening their doors and walls to a host of local Artists and Musicians who in turn share their valuable time and talents to create a festive evening of fun and togetherness.  Some establishments serve complimentary condiments. 

The entertainment winds down toward 8:30 pm, a perfect time to catch a warm and delicious meal at one of them many fine dining establishments in Town, from simple to extravagant, it's your choice.

This can be followed by a quiet (perhaps romantic) stroll on either our beautiful & scenic boardwalk along Hwy 101 (Carlsbad Boulevard) or you may kick off your shoes stroll along the miles of sand and beach just below. 

Anyway you look at it, there's a little something for everyone on Thursdays on the Coast (the last Thursday of every month (come rain or shine)...in Carlsbad that would mean mostly 'shine.'
